Vision
Habitat’s vision overall will always be to end poverty housing in America and to make it a matter of conscience for all people. Habitat Kansas City will become the affordable housing builder of choice within Greater Kansas City for all mixed income developments.

2007 Goals

- Construct/rehab and occupy 12 HFH homes by 31 Dec 2007.

- Establish and maintain a 2-month financial reserve.

- Complete construction plans, funding, and volunteers in place for construction of 12 homes in 2008 by 1 September.

- Partner with one new neighborhood and build four (4) homes of the 12 total. 

- Implement an effective personal and professional development program for all employees to meet individual needs and to increase effectiveness in the workplace

- Expand the funding base by at least 15%.
 
- Increase weekly skilled regular volunteers by 20%
 

2008 Goals

- Construct/rehab and occupy 14 HFH homes by 31 Dec 2008.

- Maintain a 3-month financial reserve.

- Complete construction plans, funding, and volunteers in place construction of 14 homes in 2009 by September 1.

- Partner with a new neighborhood and build four (4) homes of the 14 total. 

- Expand the funding base of the organization by 15%.

- Increase weekly skilled regular volunteers by 20%.
