New in 2009! - Remote Drop Off Sites
Now you can drop off your donations at various Lowe's store locations around the metro rather than driving up to the store (unless you want to shop, of course).  You'll still get a receipt for your tax purposes and the same great service from our staff. We'll be at a different Lowe's location each week on the 2nd (South KC), 3rd (Independence) and 4th Saturdays (Lee's Summit) of the month.  Read here for more information.

An extension of Habitat for Humanity Kansas City, Habitat KC ReStore focuses on keeping quality, usable building materials out of our landfills. ReStore accepts new and used material donations from individuals, retailers and contractors, and then sells those materials back to the general public at deeply discounted prices. By offering programs such as Deconstruction Services, ReStore is able to provide an environmentally sound alternative to demolition, giving home owners tax benefits in return for valuable salvaged materials. Profits from store sales help support Habitat’s mission in the Kansas City community.
