Back for 2010!

We're currently looking for sponsors for this family friendly signature event. We have two different styles of playhouses and NEW for 2010 we'll have two sizes of dog houses for sponsors to choose from. Sponsors will get the raw "house shell" and be asked to decorate their house, display it when it's completed and then in April it will be moved to Crown Center to go on display before the big Family Fun Day on April 24th. Guidelines and some suggestions for decorating your house is provided in the sponsorhip packet.

Our first Parade of Playhouses was held April 25th, 2009.  20 playhouses were on display at Crown Center in downtown Kansas City, each sponsored and decorated by a different group and many of them were VERY creative. Check out the pictures in our slide show (left). There was a Lunar Lander produced by Unchained Creative, an artist's studio courtesy of American Century, and an amazing castle done by Developmental Disability Services of Jackson County - EITAS, just to name a few!
