Owning a home is the American dream. Habitat for Humanity Kansas City is here to help you find the path to home ownership. Habitat KC works with community leaders, our neighbors, corporate sponsors and a host of volunteers to offer families in need the opportunity to own a home at cost, with a no interest mortgage.

Habitat Kansas City is not an emergency shelter provider.  It can take up to a year from the beginning of the application process to the final completion of the build. If you need immediate housing assistance, please contact your local United Way at 2-1-1, a local social services network that can assist you in finding the right program for you. Phones are answered 24/7, 365 days a year.
