Just because they're called landfills doesn't mean we need to fill them up.
Habitat ReStore accepts both new and used building materials that are in good, useable condition. If it's in good enough condition to give to a friend or relative, or it's something your contractor would reuse, it's probably good enough to donate. Check out our materials we accept page for a sampling of what we take and any donation restrictions.
You can drop off donations at the store any time during our receiving hours, Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We also have remote drop off sites on select Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at select Lowe's locations. Please be aware that materials are accepted at staff discretion. Look at our materials we accept page for details. We ask that you call in advance if you have further questions about whether we accept specific items.
Habitat ReStore also offers a free collection service for larger, pre-approved loads. Complete a donation form to arrange a collection or ask a question. We are generally scheduled up to two weeks in advance.
